Ahh!! I’m being zapped again, how could she do this to me. I thought she loved me, I’m really scared, what is going to happed to me… A flash of light blinded me, I… turned into a fire Shoyru! Yeah!! What I always wanted to become. I turned towards the mirror, wow I look so nice. As all Shoyrus know, we want to be a symbol of fire!! Because we are dragons and have unqui fire blast, I knew it was my special day, I Charizard was the happiest Shoyru in the world! I ran to my be love it owner May. I finally understood why she took her time to zap me, she wanted me to look good. So I flew across the world bragging, how lucky I was. |

Faerie Festival - September 20, 2005 |
It’s like a Cinderella story, As happy as she was just to be adopted, her one dream was to become beautiful, to become a Faerie. She tried and tried and could not find a paintbrush. She resigned to just being a plain old Gelert. The Rainbow Faerie watched from above as the poor Chinani cried herself to sleep that night. "I’ll do something about this" she vowed, and sought out for a quest. To the Gelert’s dreams she went and requested an item of costly value. Poor Chinani thought, I have no money for this. Alas, her owner played and played all day to earn enough NP. When the item was purchased, they went straight to the Rainbow Faerie. “Do you have my item?” she asked. Eagerly, Chinani handed her the Star Gazing (TCG). The Rainbow Faerie smiled and waved her hand magically. The plain little Gelert was forever transformed into a beautiful Faerie. Dreams to come true! |

Hi, my name’s Tear (Tia)1170 and I’m a Mutant Cybunny. I wasn’t always like this, I was originally a Red Pteri, but a mean Pteri tricked me into drinking a Cybunny Transmogrification Potion. As that’s too long to go into here, I’ll have the story on my pet page (Once Talei11 gets around to doing it). I’m the oldest in my family and still the only one without a petpage -_-. The next oldest is PY21neo, a Yellow Shoyru, and Aurora the Angelpuss. Unfortunately she’s been moved to another account. Then there’s SaphiaSofala, Saffa for short, the Blue Peophin and Candy, her Christmas Gruslen. After Saffa is Summer4859 the Yellow Gelert. Summer’s original petpet was Dash, a Warf, but Talei took him off to get the Snicklebeast avatar, and she hasn’t got him back yet. We had Matthewpunkster the Blue Grarrl in our family for a little while, but he’s now on the same account as PY. The final member of my family is Maxlo1maxlo1_2004 the blue Pteri. She was originally a Blue Skeith that couldn’t fly, but I got her a blue Pteri morphing potion. (That will be coming up in Neopets pet spotlight soon.) My petpet is a Floud called Rose. To say that he was a shadow Lupe gifted with bat-like wings would have been an understatement. The fact was that the black mass standing at the top of the rocky knoll was not a shadow Lupe, as most thought him to be. Neither was he a Darigan minion somehow colored black, like the great Raatri of Meridell. The fact was that the black Lupe looking over the land was in fact from another place, a place so distant, guarded by dangers so deadly, that none had known his pack had been there, let alone the small Lupe pup destined to be something other than what people see. For now, you’ll have to go with the knowledge that the Lupe has a past worth telling, a tale vivid and terrible, a tale that may one day be made known. For that Lupe doesn’t belong to this side of the world; he belongs to the other side, the side we never see, the Dark Side of the World that brave Avari and Raatri ventured to. That Lupe can be considered part-Nightmare… Yes, it is true. The Lupe on the crest of that knoll came from the other side of the world, a place of dangers and darkness. Yet he is not a Nightmare as you may think. Strangely, he is more like those of the light side than those of the dark. He is incredibly loyal; ever since the day I first found and took him in. He also has a generous heart. At times he is also friendly. But most of the time you may see some of his past life creep in. It’s in the way he’ll snarl at those trying to harm us, and in the sharpness of his hard claws. You can see it in his eyes when he is angry, or even when he is remembering what happened to him when he was first born. For he is not just any Lupe. He isn’t from any place you’ve ever known. He’s from a place you hope you’ll never know. Yes, friendly, generous, and loyal… But also dangerous. Yahto’s not you’re ordinary Lupe… He’s of Nightmare. |

Helloooo. My name is Ironicexcitment, mainly because anything good like "excitement" is ironic for me since I’m so sad-looking all of the time. Deep inside though, I’m not really sad. I just look that way for more attention. Shhhh, don’t tell my owner this! You see, I have her wrapped around my pathetic little paw! She is soooo gullible, and it is all her fault. First she bought a lot of books for me. I read them all with secret glee and learned all about how to handle my pet… er, I mean owner. She has to keep me full of wonderful food, as I’m a very demanding eater. I also guilt her into buying codestones galore for me so that I can train everyday. Look at my stats! I’m amazing in every category, and still growing! My sad looks work well for my in the battledome too. When I step into the dome, the opponent just laughs. They think I’m ready to cry and that I will never be able to stand up to them much less attack anything larger than a petpetpet. Ha! Even Meuka fell for my charade. I also have a very cool petpet! He is a Gruslen named Smilodon, which is the scientific name of the saber-toothed tiger. See how many books I’ve read? I also picked out that name because it makes folks think of the word "smile". Smilodon looks like he is smiling all of the time. He is the exact opposite of me so we make a great pair!
*Lunatic stepped forward. His form was that of a Grey Gelert, he lightly cleared his throat* "My life has been one of a interesting nature. I am a shapeshifter. I didn’t learn of this curse until it was too late. My other half is a shadow wolf named Lycan, perhaps you wish to meet him" *Head lifts forward, as his form stands. He stood larger then most gelerts. His back hind legs were the color of a dark grey. Two single bands upon both of his front legs were that of the same color. His head lowered, muzzle dipped with the same color, 2 dark grey stripes ran across his back, and one upon his neck. Pink eyes looked to you. Lunatic looked up. Pink orbs shut and opened. The full moon slowly appeared his breathing went shallow as he backed away, almost trying to fight what was all so natural. His hunger was more during full moons but he had the ablity to shape shift anytime he pleased. The only time he couldn’t stop, was on that of a full moon. Lunatic pressed his form against a oak tree as he let out a pained bark/yip/howl mix. His paws pressed into the tree. Bone cracking sounds could be heard. Paws doubled in size, as the claws exposed, and tripled in length. Bones cracked, relocating. His size was starting to double…triple. Clear fluid escaped his form as some of his fur began to tear. His whole body began replaceing his grey fur with a midnight black fur. His muzzle was long, and pointed. Sharp teeth were exposed outside of his muzzle, ivory they were. His tail became more bushy, but stayed long and thin. Ears flopped down more then before. His pink eyes soon turned to a intense amber. He stood upon his newly reformed back legs, massive. The clear fluid around his form. Lycan spoke in a deep tone* "Salutations, more can me found about me here… LycanLunatic"

Shoyru Day - April 2, 2005 |
One sunny day I was born into this Neopet world, without knowing who I was. Then I looked into to mirror and saw my self as a pretty red Shoyru. My owner May, knew I was the right Neopets to choose from. May knew I was the best of the best, even though I wasn’t painted. She promised me one day that she would colour me. But there was also another problem, we weren’t rich like some owners. So she decided to earn some money. I also told her I wanted to be strong, fortunately that wasn’t a problem. She trained me every day so I could be strong. One day she finally had the money to get something. It was the lab maps, May collected all 9 pieces and took me to the secret lab. We were scared at first, because we knew there was a mad scientist in the lab. May kindly asked him if he could zap me to change me to an different colour. And he said… "SURE YOUNGIN!" In a crazy voice. Sure I was scared, but I had to conquer my As the ray zapped me , a beam of light came in my eyes… I thought I was a goner. Until I opened my eyes and saw that I was a Jelly Shoyru. It wasn’t the colour I wanted, but at least I’m coloured. I asked May if we could come here every day, and zap me until I became what I wanted to be… Still from this day on I still dream of being a Mutant Draik, but my owner doesn’t know that, hehe…
"Shhh," a voice whispered quietly. "He’s still sleeping." The trio fell silent, watching the sleeping form of the Shoyru. The Gelert smiled softly when she saw the small smile on his face—he was obviously dreaming of something. He had once told her that almost all his dreams were exactly alike: he was helping others. Well, that was her brother for you: he was always helping others. He had devoted his very own site to help out newbies, and had persuaded his Lupe brother to use his site to help out with games. The little blue Shoyru had accomplished so much: help sites that helped many hundreds of people. He smiled for those he had never seen, for he knew that in some way, he had helped them with his site. The Gelert realized that the Shoyru was a hero in his own way: not outwardly saving people, a silent way that at times is not appreciated, and at others means the world to someone. For that blue Shoyru was only there to help: nothing more. He didn’t care if he was famous or beautiful, or smart or strong. He only cared that he and made someone smile, even if he never saw that smile. And for that, the Gelert saw a hero in the Shoyru. Quiet and passive, yes, but a hero nonetheless. Suddenly she saw new meaning behind this Day. This wasn’t a Day where they would shout out his name and give him presents. At least, for her it wouldn’t. It would be the Day she gave honor to a remarkable Shoyru who cared more of others than he did himself. There was a small scurrying noise: Fier had come at last! "Sorry I’m late," she whispered ruefully. "Everything’s going as planned?"
Hi! I’m Ra. I may look like I work for the bad, but really, this is just a costume! I liked it so much at Halloween, I decided to wear it all year around. Emmy, my mom, said I was adopted, but I was too little to remember. I’m glad she did though! My siblings and I get along great, and we’re always so spoiled. Hehehe… Anyway, back to me. I have a petpet named James, it’s a Snowbunny. I think we make an odd couple, but I think he’s really cute! *squee* I like to fly around Neopia, looking down at all the non-flying pets. That’s always so much fun! But sometimes I scare the baby pets, they think I’m some sort of monster with my forky thing and horns! When I’m really not! My mom says that I’m the sweetest Shoyru she’s ever met, but that’s what all moms say, right? Hm… oh well! Well I gotta fly! Neomail me if you want to talk!
NeoClaww looks around. No one in sight, the coast is clear! She zooms up into the air and starts doing aerial acrobatics, cutting sharp corners, even flying upside down! This is so much fun, she thinks to But what’s this? Oh no!!! Vizerdix’s favourite sculpture! She was heading right for it! NeoClaww knew she wasn’t supposed to fly in the house, but she couldn’t go out in that thunder storm and was going stir crazy just sitting around reading old copies of the Neopian Times. With lightning reflexes (all that training is paying off!) she does a corkscrew maneuver and manages to just barely touch the statue. Whew! Gently, she lands on the couch, and grabs a magazine. What timing, Vizerdrix just got home from doing the groceries! Approaching the little Shoyru, Viz puts down her bags and gives her a big hug. "I hope you’ve been a good girl while I was gone!" Vizerdrix tells her. NeoClaww nods her head and smiles sweetly, while surreptitiously nudging the sculpture back into place with her tail…
Hi! My name is _joku_ and i’m the cute little blue Shoyru owned by olynxes. I’m still very young but from day one, Olynxes has trained me well to become the best I can be…not only do I like to train at the Training school on Mystery Island but I also wake up very early in the morning to train my wings. That’s right, every night before I go to bed, Olynxes leaves open my bedroom window so that bright and early the next morning I can get up and fly out all around Neopia Central! At the moment I have a personal best of 1 minute 28 seconds… pretty fast huh?! When I’m a little older my mum said I can start to venture out around ALL of Neopia - all by myself!! Til then, I’ll keep training! But anyway, apart from training, I’ve learnt the tricky little skill called sky writing. I found that if I flew fast enough I can leave a trail on the clouds… and because it’s Shoyru Day I flew out early and decided to leave this little message for all my fellow Shoyru buddies! I was just a normal little Shoyru wandering around Neopia minding my own business when suddenly out of nowhere a huge Jelly meteor fell on me. Since then my life hasn’t been the same. I have super strength, super speed, and super health. Well most of my life has become super but I have to live in a world of secrets because if any one knew what I was my life and those close to me would be in danger. So far I have not told anyone except the nice lady who took me in, and the other pets that she has; other than that no one has found out about my secret identity.that is until now. I have found it necessary to let you all know about me that you may be able to help me save Jelly World from the doom that awaits it. It has come to my attention that the volcano to the north is going to erupt soon. There are hundreds of innocent pets living in the blast area. Even if the volcano doesn’t erupt the heat building up will melt and kill those of jelly that are near by. Now my powers will allow me to save those pets, but they will need owners just like you to take care of them till they can build there houses again. I’m an earth spirit. Stupid sounding as it may sound, its true! I’m an earth spirit because I didn’t grow up with humans, and other pets. I was raised by the wild!! I was abandoned, nearly RIGHT after I was born!! I’m not sure who my owner was. I was painted green then. I was really scared, but the trees calmed me, and raised me. I can talk to them. I love them like I would a family! Why, once I was talking to one of the willows. *EHHEM!!* Oh, right, my LIFE!!! Errr.. where was I? Oh, right! I guess, because of my raising, I grew to be an earth spirit. Well, sounds GREAT? Huh? Why don’t I STILL live with the trees? Well, one day, the trees told me there was 4 unfamiliar creatures in the forest! I went to take a look. I saw the strangest group EVER! I saw: A fairly tall teenager, an angel Zafara flying over head, a purple Poogle that looked like she wanted to hurt someone, and a purple Aisha, WHO FLOATED! Well, the girl saw me. I should have been more careful. That girl is now my owner. She took me to her Neohome. She let me enjoy my self. I had already told her my name. The trees named me. TarenTeal. Due to my color. Well, after a while, my owner, Sesano, wanted to paint all her pets. She picked out a nice brown color for me. She went to the Rainbow Pool with me. She started painting me, but the brush ran out of paint! I still had my green color on my ears, mouth, and limbs! That’s why I look so funny. My necklace was a gift from the trees. That’s how they calmed me. I keep it, so I remember their kindness. I’m kind of glad that I left the trees. I NOW HAVE A FAMILY!!
I always knew that my Albat was smart. Smarter than most, I told people, though they would laugh. But do you want to know what he did for Gelert day, just for me? Of course you do! Cricket has been mine for as long as I can remember. He’s quite an adventurous Albat: he comes with me everywhere I go, even on the most daring of adventures. Cricket’s with me every step of the way. Anyway, I was very surprised one day to find him *writing* a letter. Petpets can’t write! But there was Cricket, writing as fast as his little talons could go. “Cricket?” I asked, and he jumped. Looking at me, he quickly turned and grabbed the letter, rushing away. “Cricket!” I laughed, chasing him. He’s pretty fast for a Petpet, but I finally caught him. “What do you have there?” I asked, looking at the paper. Cricket moved one leg back and forth before him, head lowered, the perfect show of an embarrassed one. I sighed and started to read the sprawling handwriting: “Hello. I don’t know if you take requests from Petpets, but it’s worth a try. My name is Cricket and I’m Taariq_Randi the Gelert’s Albat. I think she should win something special on Gelert Day. She’s a very adventurous Gelert, and a sweet member of Fierwym’s family. I think you should also do something for her because she’s…” The letter ended there. “What was the rest going to say?” I asked, awed that Cricket could write and would do this for me. The Albat chirped, and I handed him the letter. He ran back to the room and finished writing it, then shyly handed it to me. “I think you should also do something for her because she’s such a great friend to everyone she meets. She never puts anyone down. She’s always helping out, even if she’d rather go climb some mountain. But the most important thing to me, if not to others, is that she honestly cares about me. She brings me on all her adventures when I might just slow her down, always taking care to keep little me safe. So that’s why she should be picked. She’s a hero, an adventurer, a friend, and a loving owner to me. Please consider doing something for her. ~~Cricket” I looked down at the small Petpet with wonder in my eyes. “Were you really going to send this in to someone?” I asked, and he nodded. Not for the first time, I really and truly felt that Cricket was more than just an Albat, that there was something special about him. This letter surely proved it. I handed it back to him, then picked him up and hugged him tightly, tears creeping into my eyes as I whispered: “No one else has to do anything for me. Hi, I’m Zaardain. I have been training at the school on Mystery Island. I am going stronger, slowly but surely! I am 20, all thanks to Ol’ King Coltzan. I have been reading alot of books. I hope to become as smart as Sarah, or maybe as good at magic as Kayla. I like it when my mom buys me stuff, and especially when she donates back. At one time I had an adopted younger sister, but mom couldn’t take care of us both and since she raised them from a very young age she kept me. Although when we let my sister go she was really happy!!!!! Well I have to go and I hope everyone has a nice time and I hope that y’all will challenge me to the battledome when I am stronger!

It was a cold and wet night… a little, yellow Kacheek walked through the rain without having a place to go. He looked around. He was in the Haunted Woods. He saw a little house not far away, with lights in the windows. Maybe he could get some food there. He knocked on the door. A red Kougra opened. He invited him inside, and gave the little Kacheek some porridge. Then they sat down and talked. The Kougra was very friendly, an they soon became friends. The Kacheek’s name was I_Was_Dumped, and he was dumped into the forest. When the owner came home, he heard about the situation and adopted the kacheek. The Kacheek found himself very lucky.
My username is __lil__linds__12__ and my Neopet is cutiepie0666666 (cutiepie for short) and she is a red Kacheek. She loves going to the beach, earning avatars, getting Codestones, and getting map pieces with me! She would love to be painted with a Striped Paint Brush. Cutiepie doesn’t like to fight in the Battledome even though she loves gaining levels and defence points. She doesn’t have a Petpet yet but I am working on getting her an Angelpuss. Her next favorite things to do are playing with her other sisters (my other Neopets which they are a blue zafara, white Uni, and a Christmas Kougra). That’s not all the things that cutiepie0666666 likes to do but its just a few of the great things that make my Kacheek what she is.

Astroman’s birthday is today. For the past year he has been training very hard to become a awesome battledomer. He recently found all of the pieces of the Secret Laboratory Ray, and has been using it to become even stronger. He is reading too and has read some great Elephante and Brightvale books to become intelligent. He is trying to keep in shape so he isn’t eating that many rare foods. Astroman is still weak but because of his skill and endurance he is hanging in with the best of them. He hopes one day to have a H400 Helmet, but is now satisfied with his Elephante Stunray. Astroman has always wanted to be famous like some other pets he knows, maybe you can let his dream come true. |

"Hi there!" A proud glowing Uni waves his hoof at you. "My name is Kallijah and I just wanted to take the time to wish all the Neopians a happy new year! I can’t wait for Year 7 to begin. A new year promises many new adventures for me and my siblings and owner, and the chance to meet lots of new friends." "Fantasy and I made this pretty little sign for you. She wouldn’t let me touch her computer though. She says my hooves are too big and might break it!" Kallijah grins, not at all offended by this comment. "Oh, and I mustn’t forget my cute little petpet, Yellow. He is a Yullie. He wishes you a happy new year too!" "Well, I must be going now. Fantasy says it’s time for dinner. Happy New Year, Neopia!"
I was born on the 21st of The month of Gathering, one day after the Faerie Festival. I began out as a Red Gelert hoping to become Christmas. I loved to play at a near by farm and told all the Unis and Moehogs how I would one day become a reindeer. On a cold Autumn Night a Farmer came out with a paint brush and began to paint me in my sleep. I woke up the next morning to find that I had a Red Nose and antlers. I was filled with joy that such a nice Neopian would paint me Christmas. By the way his name was FarmerFullBack08. I went to tell Rudy my Puppyblew to find out that he was also painted Christmas. Together we rejoiced that our dreams came true. The Faeries must have been with us the day I was born. About a month later in the Month of Collecting, I fell asleep on a rainy night. A piercing shot woke me up in the middle of the night and my tail was throbbing. Finally, I fell back asleep. At noon the next day I stumbled out of my jelly bedroom and looked into my royal mirror and saw a Baby Gelert. I must have been dreaming, but when Rudy looked at me he saw the same thing. We concluded a baby bruce shot me in the middle of the night and I turned into a baby. Yet another miracle happened and I was so happy. Later I realized a nice boy by the name of kirkdirtycarrot had given me a Baby Paint Brush without my knowledge. The faeries really have blessed me and I hope to start the New Year with many more good things to come.
